Description
The Honda CB450 DOHC, often referred to as the "Black Bomber" thanks to its defacto black livery and impressive proportions, was a groundbreaker. This is a bike of legend, responsible for establishing Honda's reputation in the 1970s, just as the world was beginning to move away from British motorcycles into the burgeoning Japanese market. This parallel twin featured an advanced double overhead camshaft design that was revolutionary for its time, offering impressive performance in a reliable package.
This particular 1973 example presents a rare opportunity to own a fully restored, beautifully presented mount. Having covered just 23, 167 miles in its 50-year lifespan, this bike was originally based in the USA, and arrived on British soil in 2020. Since then, it's been beautifully restored - and now stands as surely one of the best examples on the market.
