As R33 GT-Rs go, this factory Midnight Purple example ticks so many boxes as a usable investment car.
The Series 3 was the final revision of the R33 Skyline and included changes such as Xenon headlights, a deeper front splitter, N1 front bumper vents and integrated rear fog lights. Mechanically, the chassis was stiffened, the gearbox synchro’s upgraded and the ABS system improved. The interior features the much sought-after red accents on the seats and door cards.
A grade 4B example imported by Torque GT in 2018, the car arrived in the UK with just over 88, 000 km on the clock. The current owner spent over a year working closely with Torque GT to source this exceptionally clean example.
Upon import and inspection, the car received a new clutch master cylinder, an Exedy clutch kit and an ultra-lightweight flywheel. It also had two new lambda sensors fitted, along with a full service, including a new air filter, prior to its first MOT and UK registration. It has covered just over 1, 000 miles in the UK but has still received an annual service and MOT. When not in use, it has been privately dry-stored in a Carcoon and kept on a trickle charger.
The car has benefitted from some choice modifications to enhance the driving experience, including Ohlins suspension and Nismo arms, as well as an Exedy clutch. Whilst the RB26 retains the factory twin turbos, the engine breathing has been improved through the fitment of an ARC air intake, and Fujitsubo equal length downpipes connected to a Tomei Titanium Ti exhaust, all of which help to amplify the distinctive RB26 soundtrack.
Exterior upgrades have been restricted to the Nissan and Nismo back-catalogue, including a front lip and adjustable carbon fibre spoiler blade. The white 18x10 Nismo/ RAYS LMGT1s help to complete the visual changes and help to enhance the overall presence of the car.
Amongst other work carried out during the last eight years of ownership, the underside has undergone a bare-metal restoration. With the running gear removed for the underside restoration, the opportunity was taken to refurbish and replace some of the aging parts on the car. This included the gearbox, rear differential, and rear subframe. The rear suspension had every bush replaced with genuine Nissan items, along with new genuine rear wheel bearings and new Nismo suspension arms. The rear differential was sent to Garage-D for refurbishment, and all four driveshafts were stripped, inspected, painted and rebuilt using genuine Nissan rebuild kits. Throughout the process any corroded or worn nut, bolt or heat shield was replaced.
I had the pleasure of driving this car back from an event we hosted recently, and it's an absolute dream to drive. The R33 doesn't feel like a big car anymore, and its bulging bodywork has aged incredibly well, especially finished in midnight purple and sitting on gorgeous LMGT1s. The modifications only enhance the driving experience, with Öhlins suspension and the titanium exhaust producing the perfect soundtrack for a perfect engine.

There are some very minor body imperfections on the car, which is now 28 years old. There is light wear to the interior, and one of the wing mirrors does not fold electronically. Please note that, despite the sticker, this car is not a V-Spec.
The sale includes two sets of keys and alarm fobs, Japanese history including the original manuals, Torque GT paperwork, UK registration documents and receipts from its time in the UK. We also have additional images available upon request, as well as a walk-around video.
