Black Spyder Series 2 - the most desirable Montecarlo combination. The car is in very good condition with many improvements since 1999 when I fist owned it and it has been in Consortium membership ownership since. I re purchased in in 2008. Recent work includes a replacement excellent bonnet, door skins, side stripes, badges and a replacement S2 interior. The car has never needed any engine work in my ownership and starts and runs/ drives very well.
It has some performance improvements including twin downdraft Webers , CSC 321 exhaust and tarox discs/ pads all round, as well as a twin headlight Integrale conversion from Scorpion Reproductions way back in the 90's. In all other respects the car is standard. The only blip in its history was a payout by a major insurer in the early 90's when in fact it had not been stolen! When it was finally recovered Fiat UK reissued the VIN plate that had been removed with the original chassis number.
I am 100% happy to answer any questions you may have and the car has loads of history post 1999 including all MOT's. car now has 88k miles. Current MOT to end 09/ 12 an tax to end 01/ 12 so can be driven away. Very little rust and nothing to do other than just use but please do not expect a concours car - just a good honest usable straight vehicle. The chance of acquiring one of these is getting increasingly rare and they are incredibly cheap in the UK compared to the rest of Europe.
The car is know in the Monte Consortium and at present I believe it is the only S2 Spyder for sale in the UK with the last cars like this selling between £6k-10k. A genuine bargain and therefore definitly not open to any offers. This is a private sale and only selling to help finance my business.
