EXTERIOR
This eminently presentable Carbon black 550i wears an M Sport body kit that compliments the flame design theory beautifully. Whilst there are some expected stone chips to front and a small blemish on the boot the car presents consistently well without any signs of poor repair or abuse.
Shadowline trim and rubber surrounds have survived well with sunroof cassette in excellent condition.
INTERIOR
The black leather retains excellent original integrity, with no unsightly marks, stains or scuffs whilst the carpets are as new. A very well specified cabin features Nav plus TV function, Bluetooth, Sunroof and Heated seats both front and rear providing a premium executive feel.
The rear seats look as though they have had very little use, if any, whilst the boot is tidy and clean.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The N62 engine cracks into life easily and is the last word in understated V8 refinement. With almost 370hp on tap it is certainly no slouch and has enjoyed an exemplary service routine from new.
The Gearbox is smooth with the switchable auto allowing manual override at the drivers leisure.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The Spider sport wheels present well with Continental rubber on all four corners – all showing plenty of tread depth.
The brakes are in fine order and perform as they should with no unexpected drone or squeal.
HISTORY FILE
Delivered new in October of 2005 this engaging Q car has enjoyed the healthiest of service routines.
Having been maintained by BMW on 10 occasions up to May of 2015 and 68k miles, marque specialists ETA Motorsport would assume duties with 4 further service entries for engine oil, front and rear brakes in ’16 and ’17.
