EXTERIOR
The Romantic Red Metallic exterior paint is in as new condition on this E36 328i Sport, as one would expect after a thorough renovation. The paintwork is in beautiful order and has a glass-like shine and clarity throughout. There is no rust, blemishes or scratches. All light lenses and trim retain a fresh appearance. The glass still retains the original BMW etchings.
INTERIOR
The Champagne Leather is in beautiful condition throughout, with no wear to be found. The carpet, trim, switches are in great condition. The dashboard and centre console are also in equally fine condition, with no cracks or sun damage to be found. The interior looks factory fresh and still retains the smell of a new car. The carpets have a deep pile to them and they are in an unworn state. The original BMW over mats are still with the vehicle and likewise are in great condition.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This E36 328i Sport is powered by BMW’s 2. 8-litre engine, mated to a five-speed automatic gearbox. This performs as it should do and the car drives wonderfully. The gearbox works very crisply and makes light work of any operation in hand. Kickdown works wonderfully and the straight-six engine has a terrific sound. The engine is very quiet when idling and idles smoothly. The engine bay is completely original throughout and in great, clean order.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 16-inch alloy wheels are in great original condition and are shod in a set of tyres all with good tread.
HISTORY
This E36 328i Sport Cabriolet was first registered in May 2000 and has a full service history. The car comes with the original service book that is all stamped up, complete with various receipts and all MOTs are present. There are spare keys for the car and all the original owner’s manuals are present. Viewing is highly recommended for this example as there cannot be many E36 328i Sport Cabriolets in a condition like this. This car has therefore been maintained properly and is ready to be enjoyed on our roads.
