EXTERIOR
The Alfa 4C can be rightly described as a modern day style icon; a superb return to form for the marque with this junior Supercar. This Launch Edition presents in the traditional Rosso Red; a stunning deep red that provides a perfect compliment to this design showcase.
Carbon is a key feature behind this car, and whilst the chassis is hidden by the beautiful bodywork, there is plenty to enjoy with headlight surrounds, door mirrors and rear wing composed of layered composite.
Commensurate with age and use the car is in as new condition.
INTERIOR
The considerable weight saving theme is carried over to the cabin; stepping over the exposed carbon sills into a cosy tech-laden cockpit displaying an exclusive red stitch throughout. The dash is a simple single-piece moulding with the minimum of controls focusing on DNA drive select modes and a user friendly audio arrangement.
Commitment to the lightweight signature extends to the thinly padded carbon-shelled seats, a fixed passenger seat and leather strap door pulls.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The unsilenced 4 pot Turbo has plenty of poke on demand and dispenses huge torque via the TCT dual clutch 6 speed gearbox.
The various options of the DNA drive selector (Dynamic, Normal and All Weather) alter the personality of the drivetrain markedly whilst the taut ride, communicative steering and upright seating position give the 4C a racecar for the road persona.
Aft of the engine you will find a perfectly clean luggage space.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The Edition-specific Teledial wheels present unmarked – 18 inch to front and 19 inch to rear. The Pirelli P Zero rubber is as new.
With four-piston Brembo calipers up front and dual-opposing calipers at the rear the 4C comes to a stop from 60 mph in just 36 metres. “Our goal in development was to deliver the racing feeling and sensation,” says Alberto Cavaggioni, head of Alfa’s marketing, planning and brand development. “We wanted the brakes to work more on brake pressure than travel.”. There is little compromise; travel is short and the brakes bite hard.
HISTORY FILE
Chassis 08249 was first registered by Motor Village Marylebone on the 15th May 2014. The original PDI and road test check sheet is present in the history file, as well as the Delivery Manual.
Having been used for dealership display purposes this as new Launch Edition is available to the market for the first time.
The car has just been MOT’d and is available for immediate viewing.
