The battle for the title of "Most Iconic British Vehicle" has been a long drawn out and incredibly tight affair. While there are many challengers to the crown, we wouldn't hold it against you if the legendary Defender was brought up as a serious contender.
Having a rich and decades-long history, the Defender has undergone numerous minor, and some more major, iterations. Yet, the basic principle of a hardy vehicle that could withstand both on-road and off-road use across civilian and military applications has indeed held firm.
It is no wonder that the ceasing of production back in 2016 was met with such furor. On the upside, this has meant a renewed interest and following for the Defender, with prices having steadily increased since.
This beautiful example is a Defender in the 110 variant. It has been fully restored roughly a couple of years ago with a renowned Land Rover specialist and is in stunning condition. The car features a new Old Man Emu suspension setup, LED headlights, rear running light, new wheels and paint, along with many other new parts all around. This Defender also has a custom air-conditioning setup in good running order.
This particular unit came fitted with the 2. 5 liter 300Tdi engine with an output of 111hp mated to a 5-speed transmission. The engine fires up in one kick and the all around drive of this Defender is superb. It is difficult to fault this particular unit and it is obvious that it has been loved and well kept.
The current owner's only reason for sale is the impending delivery of a brand new Land Rover and a lack of parking space, without which surely he would not part with what is undoubtedly one of the best Defenders around.

The car is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It's a nice tropical climate and thus not prone to rust. Willing to ship to the UK or anywhere (can give a quote). We do buy cars from the UK from time to time so we can work out a good rate.
