A matching numbers 1973 Porsche 911T, with Porsche Certificate Of Authenticity (COA) and supporting papers. This car comes from the last year of purist production, before the beginning of the impact bumper 911’s. This car has it’s original 2. 4 litre flat 6 engine, with it’s original and desirable 5 speed 915 Gearbox. Presented in the stunning original colour of Gemini Blue Metallic (Porsche code 8686) with original Black Recaro seats, this 911 is a real head turner. This car was originally sold in Hawaii, where it spent it most of it’s life until coming to Europe in 2014. Initially imported into the Netherlands, where a full engine rebuild & light restoration work was undertaken, before the car was then moved to the UK where it has been further pampered and enjoyed by its only registered UK owner (a Porsche enthusiast). This classic Porsche has been examined and confirmed to be a solid, rust free example, which drives beautifully. The body is straight and shows no signs of major repairs. The interior is original, apart from the tasteful custom Blue Tartan seat inserts, which complement the blue body colour. The dash is in great shape and the carpets have been replaced. This Porsche comes with a Porsche GB folder full of extensive documentation since its arrival in the EU, the Porsche COA along with invoices for work carried out since its time in Europe. The rebuilt engine fires up with ease & once warm idles evenly with the well balanced Weber 40 carburettors, creating an intoxicating air-cooled sound. Once up to speed the car sounds & feels great, with the Momo Protitipo steering wheel offering direct feedback of the analogue driving experience. The car has obviously been repainted in the past, it has been carefully maintained and improved, to a point where it can provide tremendous daily enjoyment as is, or if you are so inclined, to take it further to a concourse standard, with the comfort of knowing that the major work has already been taken care of.
