The Jaguar XJ-S was produced from 1975 until 1996. In 1981 the V12 versions were renamed “H. E” and given a reworked engine with “fireball” heads producing a claimed 295bhp.
This car is a 1987 XJ-S V12 coupe in Silver Birch with Magnoila leather. It is in beautiful order, has had just two owners from new and has been in the hands of the last owner since 2006 and has covered 93, 000 miles from new.
In 2012 it was handed over to the highly regarded restoration specialist KWE. They completely stripped and rebuilt the suspension steering and braking system and cooling system to better than new standards, carried out a comprehensive service and overhaul with a very long list of replacement parts and repairs and fitted a “plus torque” power enhancement kit which transforms the V12, improving fuel economy and greatly improving performance. The difference is noticeable as soon as you touch the throttle ( one KWE customer claimed a 5 second reduction on the 0-100 time for his 6-litre version). The invoice for all of this work is in the file and totalled £21k and there are comprehensive photos of the re-fit on the KWE website.
As you would expect, this XJS is now a well sorted car and it looks, runs and drives beautifully. Ready to use. Full MOT on collection. Comes with all original paperwork service history and invoices.
