This 1950 Bristol 402 is presented in eye catching Blue coachwork. The leather upholstered interior components are trimmed in supple and elegant Tan hide while the edges of the seats, door-cards and carpets are piped in Blue to match with the stunning exterior of this vehicle. As with all Bristol 402's the instruments are set against a dashboard matched to the exterior paintwork providing a striking driving view. This specific Bristol 402 has been well maintained with a full restoration undergone between February 2016 and April 2017 allowing it to remain as resplendent as such a special motor-vehicle should be which is evidenced by its attendance at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. This Bristol 402 is an excellent example of a model rarely seen outside of private collections and museums, it is as beautiful as the day it was produced and warrants the attention of any classic car enthusiast interested in the pinnacle of classic motoring.

This particular Bristol 402 was the 6th of the 402's produced. It was sent to James H Galt of Glasgow, a well-known Bristol distributor, who supplied it to its first owner, HRH Prince Varanand Dhavaj Chudadhuj of the Thai Royal Family who was a famed Spitfire pilot in WW2, flying under a pseudonym, and had taken part in a patrol over Utah beach on D-Day. The car is accompanied with a detailed history file including photographs, anecdotal history and of course bills/ invoices.
