At the end of May 1967, BMC announced the fitting of a larger 1275 cc engine option to the 1100 . The new car combined the 1275 cc engine already familiar to drivers of newer Mini Cooper S and Austin-Healey Sprite models. This MG version is a very rare sight today especially in this condition. with just 51000 miles on the clock it drives superb with a wonderful rasp from the 1275 engine and its twin SU carbs. It has very low owners and a folder full of history, Currently it has MOT until September at which point it will be MOT exempt as well as TAX exempt. With Minis from the same era fetching astronomical amounts this represents excellent value and will surely be a worthwhile investment and a worthy addition to anyones collection.
