Rare LHD Jaguar 420. A development of the famous S-Type but with the fabulous rear suspension of the E-Type and Mark 10, built for the USA market so the car has air conditioning and the more powerful and more reliable 4. 2 XK engine. Fitted chrome wire wheels, all new tyres, the car has been restored a while ago but has been completely recommissioned over the past year or two and is now in top shape and ready to go. The carburettors were rebuilt recently and the car fully serviced. The ITV is until late 2024. Only 2620 LHD versions of this fabulous Jaguar were built making it probably one of the rarest Jaguars ever. Based on the S-Type, the 420 has the superb independent rear suspension of the E-Type and the engine was the ultimate development of the 4. 2 XK which powered Jaguar cars for a further 27 years.
This particular Jaguar 420 is full USA spec, is completely rust-free, was imported from Las Vegas during May 2004 and underwent a restoration programme in the UK.
