We as enthusiasts have an unquenchable thirst for nostalgia. As a middle aged man I can't help myself. So, when the opportunity comes to celebrate a hero and an icon of Jaguar history I feel at 'home'. Dick Protheroe is a hero and an icon of Jaguar competition history. He carried on his business some 5 miles away from where I lived my formative years and I consider myself a friend of one of his engineering race team who I've spoken with on this car. I am looking for a somebody who wants a fire breathing weapon from 75 years ago that is at home on the track and road and comes with all the tools including FIAHTP and removable roll cage, hardtop, spare wheels etc to give the new owner the chance to do exactly as they di din the day.
