1992 face lift LHD v12 XJS convertible in glacia white with isis blue interior. Personally imported by myself in 2015 and now for sale due to lack of use. £16, 000 worth of bills with Jaguar specialists. New hood fitted, reconditioned lattice alloys and recent tyres. The car looks stunning and drives well and always attracts positive comments. The body is excellent, with typical problems areas such as cill ends showing no corrosion. Please look at the pictures and ask for additional ones if you need to. There is some surface corrosion in the drivers footwell that has been treated, caused by the sound deadening holding moisture. The floor pan does not require replacement and is solid.
The paint has an excellent shine and no swirl marks. Chrome is excellent bar one blister on a front corner section. Interior is well above average. The leather is largely unmarked. The wood ski slope does have some wear and one wood trim strip on the drivers door panel has lifting veneer. Aircon has been recently re-gassed. The original Jaguar radio cassette is fitted and works but the electric ariel has been substituted for a lift up.
Mechanically, the car drives well, and the hood operates as it should. The car comes with original hood cover and a set of hand books. Most recently I have had a new aux air valve and crank sensor fitted in Dec 2022.

The XJS has now come of age and thankfully is no longer seen as the ugly poor replacement for the E Type. The E type is a full on sports car but the XJS was always designed to be a grand tourer and as an owner of both of these great cars, I can definitely say that the XJS is a much more comfortable car to travel in and would be my choice for a long distance drive.
Spring is nearjy here…time to put the roof down, let the V12 creamy power pul you along to the vineyards in France and relax in the knowledge that you have a boot big enough to bring a good quantity back!
