1973 Mk1 Ford Capri Facelift, I found this car in a garage in Coventry back in 2013, At this point it had been in storage since the 80’s in a heated Garage, the original Owner had died and it was left to his son,
I then purchased the car and was transported back to my workshop with the intention of fitting a V8 ford in it, on close inspection I decided that this was a very straight and original car which had never been welded, Yes it has the odd dig and had bits of paint over the years, I then recommissioned the car in 2014 and used it up unit just before Covid on nice days.
I decided to restore all the running gear, suspension, engine, steering and bushing where needed as I wanted to go and do the North 500, Covid then stopped that. In Covid I Purchased my dream a Ford Mustang. I then sold the Capri to my friend who has owned it since, He now looking to move into a 3 Litre S or 2. 8 injection.
As you will see this is a rare chance to owner a very original Ford Capri 1600 XL in Daytona Yellow with its original Black vinyl Roof. This car is only showing 3 owners on the log book,
