1965 MGBGT Rare MKI, built 1965 registered 01/ 01/ 1966 Old English white with Overdrive. This car is in lovely condition throughout, It benefits from a full nut and bolt restore completed in 2018 and has only done 3500 miles since, she drives beautifully and sounds fantastic. It’s still wired positive earth and has many sensible upgrades including stainless steel exhaust, 123 electronic ignition, Dynamator, Revotec fan, high torque starter motor and Retrosound radio. The interior is by MG trimming specialist Mirror Trim with laminated oak dash and door caps.
I pop her up on my scissor lift and added some more photos of the engine bay, the sills, the underside and the doors. There is a small paint bubble at the bottom right near the rear window, it measures about 1 1/ 2" so I added a photo for clarity. British Motor Heritage Trust certificate showing it to be approximately the 171st MGBGT to be manufactured and it has an agreed insurance value of £20, 000.
