Jaguar MkIV restoration project, including two cars.
Green car is a British car with full log book and registration. Black car has been imported from Australia and is in good solid condition. Realistically the black car is the restoration project and the green car would be used as a donor car.
The black car has had work to restore the chassis which is now in great condition, engine and gearbox refurbished, stainless and exhaust fitted. The body needs some work but is a really solid base and could look great with bags of patina or restored to showroom condition.
As you can see in the pics there's innumerable spares between the two cars you really would have to come and have a look to see exactly what's here. The prices for spares on these cars fetch strong money so it's a great opportunity to restore one car using original parts and any required from the green car are on hand. Then sell a number of spares when the project is complete!
Both cars have the 3. 5L Jaguar block with one having been refreshed and running at time of purchase. We bought the car as a restoration project with views of using it on continental drives. These cars are extremely robust, and the 3. 5L motor is smooth and unstressed.
Changes to circumstances require the sale as there simply won't be enough time for me to finish them.
