Here we have for sale my Alfa Romeo 75 2. 0 TwinSpark. The car was first registered on 4th December 1990 to BP International plc. The car spent most of its life in Aberdeen, as a company car and I believe the second owner was the employee of BP.
I acquired the car in 2020, having owned a number of Alfas and a long term admirer of the 75. The seller had bought it for its engine, but realised it was far too good to strip. When I bought the car, it had no MOT and very little history, so it was a bit of an unknown quantity.
During my ownership, the car has been used sparingly, covering just 2, 000 miles in 3 years. In that time, it has only ever been used in the summer and always been stored in the garage. As it stands today, the car is approaching 115k miles. I have had the following work completed in my ownership:

Service (oil, filters and spark plugs)
New inlet manifold rubbers
Prop shaft refurbished (new donuts, bearings, bushes and painted)
Eibach rear springs
Fitted 14 inch Revolution alloys
4x new Vrdestein tyres (only covered 2k miles since fitting, so loads of tread remaining)
New lower arms and drop links
Polybushed castor arms
Polybushed anti roll bar bushes
New front brake calliper seals

New fuel pumps (both underbody and in tank)
New water pump
New radiator
New power steering belt, pulley bearing (zinc plated the pulley while it was off)

Removed old spare wheel well due to rust patch, replaced with new wheel well from EB Spares (see photos)

I might have missed some bits, but as you can see, this has been a well looked after car.
The car hasn’t had a great deal of welding and is remarkably solid underneath. There are very minor leaks from the gearbox and engine that have been picked up in previous MOTs, but these have been so minimal that I haven’t addressed them. Reverse can require a bit of patience, but this is intermittent.
The interior is in excellent condition. The fuel gauge is temperamental and I don’t particularly trust it. The radio has never seemed to work either, so I have always driven it with a Bluetooth speaker or just listened to the engine! There is also a slight sag in one area of the headlining.
The paintwork appears to be original. Generally, it is pretty good and isn’t suffering from lacquer peel. However, there are a lot of touch ups on the bonnet from stone chips and the paint match isn’t great. There is perhaps a little bit of fade on a couple of panels. The grille is probably the worst for that, but overall, it’s good for its age. There are a couple of patches of rust around the rear passenger side light and windscreen (see pictures).
As the pictures show, the car comes with its original service book and a number of other receipts. Almost all of the parts I have bought have been from EB Spares, who I would highly recommend and are specialists in classic Alfas.
Though it is a long way from being a personalised plate, I like to think there was some intention behind assigning it the plate ‘H705 TSO’, as a 75 TS and think it adds a little something extra.
Overall, the car has had a lot of work done to it and needs to be enjoyed. As mentioned, the car isn’t used like it should be and it’s time to move on to something else. If you have any questions or would like to arrange viewing, please let me know.
