Rare TWR (Tom wilkinshaw racing) e28 528i converted to 535 by twr (modified cylinder head, 3. 5 bottom end, modified 2. 8 injection system, free flow exhaust) bilstein b8 rear suspension, koni adjustable dampening front suspension with 35mm lowering springs all round, m5 aero body kit fitted (m5/ m535 bumpers, side skirts, spoiler) mtech 1 leather sport steering wheel, 5 speed manual getrag gearbox, has had all welding completed that it needed and fully underbody sealed for protection, 5x 7j 15” bbs alloys with hankook tyres with 6mm remaining, new brake fluid, new coolant, new oil, new oil filter, new power steering fluid, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new all rear rubber fuel hoses replaced and fronts done not long before, cd player with aux in, UNCRACKED DASH very rare these days, electric windows front and rear, manual sunroof. The best e28 you could get at first release was the 528 Bmw hadn’t released the 535 version of the e28 at the time so twr would do conversions anything from as little as a engine and handling package or extra options of wheels, brakes, seats, body kits and alpina parts as they were originally the ones that had the licence to import and sell alpina parts before sytner/ alpina was started in the Uk and brought out twr’s Bmw tuning devision along with the remaining cars that were being built plus they commissioned another couple to built as full Uk “alpina” cars whilst they set up the sytner workshops.
I only know of one other twr car for sale and they want over triple the asking price of this car but then that’s one of the twr/ alpina spec change over cars built for sytners
Please no time wasters, tyre kickers, dreamers or people wanting to just chat about who/ what twr is was please look up on Google who twr were and there huge racing success and car developments they achieved over the years, Mazda, Bmw, rover, some crazy jaguars, the silk cut 24 hour Le Mans car, Porsche race car, Renault Clio v6 wide body and many more cars and projects.
Obviously for privacy reasons as I have other cars aswell so don’t want to be giving out the location of my collection I will be only meeting serious buyers at a chosen safe location so don’t waste my time as I’m a busy person
I have owned it since 2019 and hardly used it been garaged with my other collection of BMWs. New v5 issued recently in my name as I’ve sent off and declared it tax and mot exemptI have owned it since 2019 and rarely used it as in my opinion it’s to rare to be used often. been garaged in my collection of classic BMWs. I’ve now decided I want to let a couple of cars go to thin my collection to make room for something else maybe lambo.
