Hi and welcome to the listing for my Triumph 1500/ Dolomite
Started life as a Triumph 1500 but has been converted to RWD using dolomite running gear and cosmetics. The engine is from a Triumph Spitfire and runs well.
Drives great, engine always starts reliably and settles to an idle without choke soon afterwards. Gearbox works as it should, including overdrive on 3rd and 4th gear.
Paintwork is nice and bright and very presentable overall having benefited from a respray a few years back. Bodywork wise it is solid and an honest car but has unfortunately suffered some damage to the nearside front wing and some dents to the doors.
Interior is 70s brown, vinyl seats and carpets and presents nicely overall. All gauges in working order however the fuel gauge always shows full so may want the sender unit replacing.
The car was subject to a Category C insurance loss in 2011 but subsequently passed a VOSA identity check in 2014.
Comes with numerous spare parts, invoices/ paperwork for work done and notes of the changes made, as well as workshop manuals, books and spare keys.
Overall an affordable classic that could be used as is or improved further.
