In the current ownership for some 20 years, this lovely example was the subject of a painstaking, thorough restoration which was completed in 2016.
This was a 'Last Nut and Bolt' restoration which has been recorded on a CD which accompanies her. The Body and Chassis were completely stripped, repaired as necessary and then professionally painted. The Interior and Hood have been completely retrimmed (Leather Seats and Tailor Made Mohair Hood). The Engine was rebuilt (2200cc) with the benefit of a Peter Burgess Cylinder Head as were the Gearbox and Overdrive. The result is a very smart TR3a which 'Drives as well as it looks!' ( The fitment of the Leather Rim Steering wheel has necessitated fitment of a Dashboard Switch to operate the Indicators and movement of the Overdrive Switch to a position below the Dash. The Original Wheel comes with the car and can be refitted at point of sale and the O/ d switch reinstated if desired.) EARLY VIEWING STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!
