I have a Riley MPH special project for sale consisting of.
New MPH racing chassis (Nick Jarvis)
Front and rear Axles with new road springs and spring shackles.
New Ash frame for MPH body.
Torque tube with differential (will need shortening)
New brake back plates with good used brake actuators and adjusters
15/ 6 engine which is dismantled. No connecting rods or pistons. Some other parts missing. The cylinder block has been repaired (see photos). It hasn't been pressure tested but the repaired area is not adjacent to the water cooling jacket. The cylinder head has also been repaired and not tested. There is a new triple carburettor manifold that needs the mounting holes drilling. 3 SU carbs which are dismantled with lots of miscellaneous parts. The main bearing journals have been white metalled some years ago and need machining to the crank dimensions. The crankshaft will require grinding. There is no exhaust.
New flywheel/ drive plate & drive flange to suit the gearbox input shaft, this enables removal of the original heavy centrifugal clutch assembly.
Pre selector gearbox which is not tried or tested.
New Hardy Spicer drive coupling for the torque tube.
4 x new Hartford type shock absorbers.
Steering column & steering box
Brake, clutch and accelerator pedals and some linkages.
V5 document in my name. The vehicle type listed on the V5 is described as Sports.
That's pretty much all that I can think of at the moment, I'm sure there is more and if you have any questions please drop me a line. I have lots of photos if more detail is required. This would make a fantastic VSCC race/ sprint/ hill climb car when completed. Unfortunately I am going overseas for work and don't have any time in the foreseeable future so I would prefer someone who has the time to build the car and use it as intended.
