At Stable Vehicle Storage we are proud to offer to market this exceptional 1982 Porsche 911 SC 3. 0, which has benefitted from a full, extensive nut and bolt restoration by OPC Cambridge in 2018.
This car was one of two restored by OPC Cambridge, with the other car being auctioned for charity.
The car was first registered in 1982, and has covered 133, 000 miles from new, but benefitted from a complete restoration, including paint, interior and engine work, no stone was left unturned when OPC Cambridge went totally through the car, which is documented with several photos throughout the process.
Finished in the classic Guards Red , the paintwork on the car was repainted by OPC partner paintshop, Witham. The finish is perfect and has benefitted from detailing and PPF since the respray.
The classic Fuchs alloys are all in perfect condition and wrapped in correct Continental tyres, which are in great condition with plenty of remaining tread.
The interior is also in perfect order, having benefitted from new carpets and a full refresh to the seats.
Subtle modifications have been installed to bring the car into the 21st century, with the removal of the original cassette system, in favour of a Porsche Classic Navigation unit, which still looks in keeping with the rest of the interior. The original gear shifter has been improved with a more modern short shifter unit. A smaller Momo Prototipo wheel has been fitted, with a Porsche crest horn press, a modification that is seen regularly in classic 911’s
The engine is the latest variant of the 3. 0l producing 204bhp, mated with a 5 speed manual gearbox, having been run in carefully and documented in the restoration documents, this engine is in fantastic order. Gearbox, suspension and brakes were stripped and rebuilt, or replaced with new parts.
All recent servicing and maintenance work has been carried out by local specialist, Bahnsport.
