95% of the parts on the car are from the 1960s. The car is registered as Cooper S.
The engine has an 8-port aluminum cylinder head from Jim Whitehouse with Weber carburetors. This engine has been overhauled by my friend Steve Harris in England. As a former Downtown employee and friend of Jim Whitehouse whom I also knew well, he was particularly interested in this engine and wanted me to send it to him.
This is an engine that would cost GBP. 11. 000 to build today if you were lucky enough to get hold of the same engine parts. I used over 2 years restoring the car and the same amount of workhours on building this engine as I would building a race engine.
