Triumph Acclaim HLS 1983.
As an Acclaim enthusiast I am pleased to offer for sale another one that is now ready to be enjoyed and used again. It has had a lot of work and plenty new or replacement parts, new tyres, new battery, all new brakes shoes, drums and pads, all new fluids etc etc. Engine recently overhauled and runs super sweet. It has got a gorgeous black interior however the carpet has seen better days , but it is acceptable. Paintwork in nice condition. Despite the fact it is MOT and TAX exempt now I had one more MOT on the 13th May just for peace of mind, where it passed with flying colours and no advisories. Emissions test were extremely good. I have just finished with some lengthy test drives and I am very happy with it. Any inspection is not only welcome but is advised. Logbook in my name and registered as Historic. If you are new to the classic car world the Acclaim is a good usable classic that will easily keep up with modern traffic. The Acclaim is also easy to maintain and there is a Facebook group where you will find myself and many other people always willing to help with any problems , or any difficulty in finding parts. Anyone not sure what to expect with a 40 year old car ( or older ), needs to be advised they will need looking after with regular servicing and maintenance.
