Due to a new car, I am looking for a new home for my 45.
In my ownership I have had numerous things carried out in order to get it up to a good standard and future proof the upcoming years. This includes but not limited to:
4x New tyres / Replace heater resistor / Head gasket kit including timing belt & water pump (Carried out by David Alkins)/ Retrim headlining in original spec material / full service including plugs and fuel filter.

In terms of condition, the best way to describe it is extremely original and presentable. Considering its 22 years on the road, there are a handful of cosmetic issues, but overall it remains presentable and in very good condition.
A small amount of cosmetic work would bring this 45 to a show standard, although mechanically I would trust this car to take me from Lands End to John o’Groats with no dramas. It has been extremely reliable and faultless in my ownership. This 45 started its life at Richardsons MG Rover dealer in Tiverton Devon, where it’s believed it spent the first year of its life as either a demo vehicle or courtesy car. In 2003, the car was sold on to its next owner in Wellington Somerset, who owned the car up until 2024, until I bought it.
The 45 still features its dealer number plates, tax disc holder, rear dealer sticker, service sticker and even an original MG Rover touch up pen in odyssey blue. An original 37k miles which is also backed up by MOT history.
Being a more desirable pre project drive which are considered better built and of better quality, it is also ULEZ compliant, meaning it’s free to drive through London, Birmingham, Edinburgh etc
