Potential buyers should be aware it’s an ongoing project and there is stuff that needs doing (interior is a bit tatty), but chassis, suspension and mechanics are up to modern road standards, which is an excellent starting point for an ongoing project. No welding was required. The big stuff is done, over to the tarting up, should you wish. It doesn’t need a MoT, but it brings a certain peace of mind. VED (car tax) exempt, ULEZ exempt and cheap to insure as a Historic Vehicle (about £120 a year). What’s not to like? Oh, yeah - fuel consumption!Bought 2 years ago as an on-off project. Now has MoT with no advisories and is ready to drive away. Recent machine cut and polish. Looks good, sounds good, just needs an internal tart-up.
