MG NA Allingham Magnette 2/ 4 seater 1934
Originallt sold by university motors on 14/ 8/ 34 on original No plate MG 3538 chassis No 0305 is still a matching numbers car. The car was previously owned by various well known MMM people. The current owner has had the car since 1974 ( 50 Yesrs) and carried out a rebuild between 1990/ 1994. Well known club owner has the car and used extensively for overseas holidays through out Europe. Today it would be fair to say, she has a nice patina although she is not a show queen ! Somewhere between 10/ 13 Allinghams were built altogether, however only 4 examples are know to have survive. The car Chassis No NA0305 was the second Allingham registered. Henry Allinghams own car AXN637 being the first example was completed for sale some 2 weeks earlier. This car was also prepared for the RAC Rally of 1934. To Summarise, a rare and beautiful MG Allingham that has been an Exceptional car to own and drive over many miles. Much care and attention has been lavished on the car over the past 50 years, so will need someone to continue with the care and love she deserves. A reluctant sale.
