1958 MG Magnette ZB Varitone – One Family Owner Since 1959, Beautifully Recommissioned
An elegant blend of British style and post-war charm, the MG Magnette ZB Varitone was the final and most refined version of Gerald Palmer’s celebrated design. Introduced in 1956 with a more powerful engine and the distinctive twin-tone “Varitone” finish, it remains one of MG’s most desirable saloon cars.
This striking duo-grey 1958 example was first registered on 15th May 1958 and has remained in the same family ownership since 1959 — a true testament to decades of care and pride.
Recently recommissioned at a cost exceeding £5, 000, this Magnette is ready to drive, show, and enjoy. Work completed includes:
