Very sad to be selling my much loved 1989 Golf mk2.
I just don't have the time or space to do the work that a car if its age needs.
A fair few things will need sorting:
roof lining sagging, a bit of body work needed (nothing structural) and some seals could do with being replaced as it does get a bit damp inside in heavy rain) have tried to show main points in photos.
But generally the car is solid and has just had its MOT (expires Nov 2025). I've been driving it as a daily for the past 10 years. It won't take much to get it up to the standard it deserves to be.
I really hope someone can take this to a good home and give it a bit of love and attention. It's such a cool car and I'm genuinely gutted to be getting rid of it, but I want someone to make it better than I can!There are a few little things that need doing to get this car up to great condition, but these cars are getting so sought after and anyone with space to do a little bit of work will easily be able to get this car to where it should be. I just wish I had the time and space to work in it properly. Such a great car and an utter joy to drive, always turns heads and anyone who loves Golfs knows this needs to be kept running and on the road.
