Here we have a restored Triumph GT6. Re sprayed in Bentley grey colour and wire wheels added at a cost of over £1300.
We took it out of dry storage, after 2 years of not being used, and found blistering on the bodywork and some mechanical issues.
The following mechanical problems were solved through replacement and repair at a cost of over £6, 000 -
New differential
New rear suspension rubbers
New petrol tank and filler hose
All new fuel lines
New electronic ignition
New ignition coil
Carburettors stripped down and new floats fitted
Tuning carried out including twin carb balancing
Cylinder head removed, polished and new gaskets fitted
Radiator removed and sent for refurb/ flushing
4 wheel balancing carried out
4 new inner tubes fitted
Under body sealed with Lanoguard
New MOT put in in June 2024
Recent interior completely redone in black at additional cost to the above including new carpet, seat squibs and boot boards.
