1968 Austin Mini 1000

Here we have a 1968 Classic Mini for sale that was re-shelled in the 1970’s and is in nice condition. The bodywork is solid and the engine bay is tidy as can be seen in the photos. It has been laid up for some years and has recently been re-commissioned and now has a 12 months MOT on it. One of the Photos shows all the recent work done on the car to re-commission it.
The car has the potential to be a great car with some minor restoration and TLC, it is currently fitted with 10” wide wheels which were all the rage when the car was younger and would benefit from being fitted with the correct wheels or a set of Minilights. The car has not been molested with or messed about with and forms the basis of a great sound car that is looking for a new custodian that will take it to the next level of finish.
The car is available for sale due to illness of the owner and I am assisting him in the sale of the car, it has been in his ownership for many years. It is located in Southport in the North West of the UK where it can be viewed. The asking price is £4500 a very reasonable price for a Mini of this era.
