Matching numbers Morris Cooper S early Mark 11 with sliding windows.
Built on 6th August 1969 and registered in Plymouth 1970.( Heritage certificate in my name dated 10/ 8/ 2009)
7 owners from new- twice registered in my name!
This mini under went a total restoration by the well know mini guru, Brian Purves in 98-2000(full photographic record) and has been maintained irrespective of cost since then - invoices in file.
I bought the car from my friend in 2009 due to his ill health.
The car was restored by Mr Purves to BMC rally specification and I was the navigator on rallies until Jim's death when I purchased the car from his widow.
During the period 2011 - 2016 the Mini was registered to another friend until coming back to my stable once more.
Many past MOTs are on file and it is currently taxed in my name but is not MOTd as it is registered as a Historic vehicleIn 2009 when I purchased the Cooper S I had a great sentimental attachment to it, being a friend and navigator of the then owner.
The rally spec of the car gives it a versatile appeal and has been used for social outings, rallies, hill climbs and sprints.
The car has expired FIVA papers.
