Description
I bought the RMF in 2014 from a member of the RM Club. After that, some repair work was carried out:
- The tank was cleaned and recoated
- The brake system was overhauled
(wheel brake cylinder, master brake cylinder, steel flex lines)
- The carburettor and ignition were optimised
- An electric water pump with electronic control was retrofitted
- The starter motor was renewed
- The steering wheel and tyres were replaced
- An electric ignition from 1-2-3 was fitted
- The engine was overhauled in 2018 in a specialist workshop in Cologne for approx. 10000€ (mattar-classic. de)
There is a complete folder with the corresponding receipts for the repairs carried out
The Riley is technically and visually in good condition
The only known issue is a non-functioning fuel gauge due to a mass error
The bodywork makes a very good impression and the paintwork was professionally carried out in UK.
The leather interior is also in good condition, but shows signs of wear.
