Description
The Appeal
Following in the footsteps of the DS, SM and CX, the XM was to be Citroën's flagship model. It retained the French firm's trademark hydropneumatic suspension which was further developed with an electronic control system coined 'Hydractive'.
Today, a well-looked-after XM is a compelling modern classic, especially in estate form and better still with one of Citroën's exceedingly thrifty turbodiesel engines. The 1996 example is just that, a superbly maintained examole that offers a blend of comfort and handling rarely seen in today's estate cars and SUVs.
This XM boasts an impressive service history, with all maintenance carried out by the trusted Citroën specialist Chevronic Centre LTD of Hitchin. A recent full service, including all filters, ensures that this vehicle is in good health in readiness for its next custodian. The Condition
