Always privately owned so very low mileage. Had been stored for several years when I purchased in 2019 so needed a fair bit of recommissioning which included:
A complete overhaul of the brakes with: replacement servo unit; vacuum pump & belts; master cylinder; wheel cylinders, shoes & springs all round; some pipes replaced
The clutch master and slave cylinders were also replaced; wiring to the headlights and indicators needed attention; new battery and recon wiper motor fitted; old style seat belts replaced with automatic inertia reels. Also fitted an auxiliary electric radiator fan with thermostatic control as a precaution and peace of mind! A radio was also fitted.
Apr 2022: gearbox rebuilt with new clutch.
Dec 2024: Injection pump refurbished. New lift pump.
Jan 2025: Set of 4 new 6ply Taxi tyres fittedA delight to own and drive, always attracts much attention. I have other classics and have lost the tenancy of the garage where the vehicle was kept so reluctantly offered for sale.
