Rover P5b Coupe
Recently recommissioned after major restoration in the early 2000’s.
Previous owner fell ill after the restoration and didn’t use the car. It was removed from his garage earlier this year and has now been recommissioned.
The original restoration
Full bare metal restoration and respray.
Reconditioned engine
Reconditioned BW35 gearbox
Brakes completely replaced
New carpets
New headlining and sun visors
New furflex around the doors
New moquette on map pockets and kick panels
With the recent recommissioning the servo, callipers and rear wheel cylinders have bern replaced as the car has stood so long.
Fuel system cleaned out

This Rover P5b Coupe has an exceptional interior. It comes with front and rear head rests. As mentioned above lots had been renewed. The body is extremely solid as during the restoration the sills and D posts were replaced.
The only faults that the car had got on the mechanical side is an oil leak from the seal at the rear of the engine. That will need doing at some stage and the steering box also is dripping a bit of oil. I will supply a refurbished steering box in the sale if the asking price is achieved.
As there is a bit of mechanical work to do I have priced the car accordingly to take that into account.
