Description
Listing for my father in law, his 1978 Triumph Buccaneer. This bike is No 1 of a limited run built by L P Williams (No 3 is in the National motorcycle museum) for Trevor Gleadall (who my father in law bought the bike from 28 years ago and is the second owner). The bike has been featured in a the classic motorcycle press and copies of the magazines are included.
The bike has done just over 3000 miles and is in immaculate original condition. The bike has been off the road for 20 years so after checking the fluids and pumping the oil round with the plugs out a new battery was fitted. The alloy tank was filled with petrol and the bike fired up and settled down to a steady tick over.
The bike is totally original and has never been restored or repainted in anyway.
Unfortunately the specification of the engine is unknown so it may have a linerless alloy barrel kit and fully machined crankshaft but I'm unable to verify this. However being Trevor Gleadall's own bike and no one of a twenty or twenty one bike run makes this a rare and special bike in totally original condition.
