Description
This is my late father’s car and has been in the family since the early 80s and is still in very good condition and drives well.
The engines is particularly lively and the transmission is also in excellent condition.
The bodywork is very sound. The structure is excellent with the wheel arches being in perfect condition as are the sills and jacking points. There are some faults with the paint work (see photos) but none are obvious or serious. You could proudly use it as it is.
The black leather interior is in good condition. The two front seat could be improved with some local repairs.
All chrome work is in good condition.
The car has a recent, current MOT.
Unlike many of these cars, it is standard and all the better for it. I think the colour combination is one of the best as it gives the car a “premium” look. The car, owned my father since the early 80s, was in regular use for many years with some long European trips into the 2010s. Long trips are perfectly within its capabilities.
The car was restored some 20years ago and you can be assured that it has not had a quick “blow over” to sell. What you see has stood the test of time. It could benefit from some detailing and would suit someone who wants a good car which they can continue to use while improving it.
