Description

I’ve owned this for approx 15 years. It was in storage for the first 10 of them and more recently recommissioned and used every now and then.

The FHC, now rarest and sought-after of the body styles as most of these fixed heads were rallied, had a glass sunroof cut in or chemically expired.

It’s solid and covered in waxy/ Ziebart muck that’s probably helped save it. You can clearly see this in some of the pics.

It’s been painted in its past before I got it and looks good from 15 paces.

Ideal car to be used as a rolling improvement as it runs, is reliable and just works.

I put on new Konis front and rear – it rides quite nicely. Brake overall front and rear (TR8 calipers/ discs), new cylinders, brake pipes, Goodridge hoses. Handbrake cable has been removed and oiled. Brakes work well. Fuel tank replaced with a professionally repaired one.

Jobs for a new owner (I’ve just lived with these). Voltage meter inoperative. Milometer does not count and speedo reads about 10mph slow. CWP moans a bit on overrun. Radio doesn’t work. New carpet set would lift the interior as it's tired. Tyres have good tread but are very old.

Price is firm, but could be swayed into a deal for a 70s two-stroke triple.
