Description
Original RHD April 1954 car sold by the Donald Healey garage.
Warwick WD registration, as many of the prototypes and early racing cars. History back to the early 1960’s. Restored in 1980’s. Maintenance by Orchard Restorations, upgrades include - Denis Welch aluminium fast road big valve head, Derrington style three branch exhaust manifold, high lift cam, high compression pistons, Le Mans kit manifold and cold box, CSI electronic ignition, diaphragm clutch, 3 speed gearbox with O/ D
60 spoke painted wires with Blockley radials, Louvred bonnet.
Fast with lots of torque. Will have new mot. Not rusty. Not a concours ‘boiled sweet’ as painted in cellulose. I have owned this car for nearly 32 years and the only failures have been a fan belt, regulator and dynamo all replaced. It will be a sad sale, so no time wasters or people who have no knowledge of the value of an original UK RHD car with good provenance that is so important.
