I am selling my beloved MX5 1. 8i Mark 1 in beautiful British Racing Green all thanks to ULEZ. It is not ULEZ compliant. I hope it will go to a new home outside ULEZ zone with plenty of beautiful country roads where it belongs.
This iconic roaster was first registered in 1996. I bought it in January 2011. It has always been garaged and used only in fair weather in the summer. Well looked after and serviced regularly. I did around 30K miles in it during my 14 years of ownership. A new clutch was put in a few years ago. The car has leather seats in very good condition, Nardi Torino wooden steering wheel and matching gear knob, stereo with Bluetooth. Tyres are in excellent condition. It was put on SORN in 2019. I had it put back on the road after a full service in April 2025. A new Bosch battery was installed in April 2025. Front anti-rollbar brushes were replaced and corrosion repaired as per the advisory items indicated by the MOT in April. ReMOTed in May with no advisory. Both the body work and interior are in excellent condition with no damage. It drives beautifully. Only some light dings, scratch and scuff marks around the body without any big dent or damage.
This car has a lot of cult followings hence this is a great opportunity to acquire this appreciating asset.
