1967 Mountain Cub exported to the USA to `JO MO` from new, full Trials Spec` many Sammy Miller parts, very rare cub-one of the very last made! Electronic ignition, full UK Reg for road use (day light use only) as no lights, matching numbers, & confirmed by Triumph Owners Club Certificate. Fabulous condition, rebuilt engine, etc. N/ B used to ride it around my `old` workshop yard-hence, covered only 50 miles since purchased 5 yrs ago! Now, stored on SORN in my new workshop across-the-road by my home. Always wanted a Mountain Cub to be in my collection! Looked for over 10 yrs before buying this one five yrs ago- now- however too old to enjoy it (78yrs) Hence, for sale as well as my 1961 Triumph Trophy TR6R... full Desert Sled style, duplex frame, high pipes, same model, year, that Steve McQueen used in the Great Escape film! Many bills / invoices / for full restoration, including engine, won many Awards & Cups over the 15yrs of ownership-again-only selling due `old age` N/ B compression that good.... I cannot `kick-it-over` anymore! (knees gone!) open to offers on both bikes around £7500 ono each! (both on SORN and laid-up correctly: Tank Safe in petrol tank, plugs out -oil done bores clutch freed-off every two weeks, turned-over for oil pressure switch to `come out` every month, bikes covered in blankets-in my dry workshop.
