1981 Mercedes 280SL Manual
Ultra rare manual gearbox - so rare, the first owner had to travel to Mercedes HQ in Germany to pick it up in 1981. Believed to of only had 2 owners, Husband & Wife.
34, 000 miles (verified by MOT certificates and service documents dating back to the mid 80's)

This SL was subject to a re fresh in 2020 - new battery, new tyres, new fuel pump. Full fluids, filters and brake service.
A true, cover and leave for future generations piece. That said, it could quite easily have centre stand in a Mercedes automotive museum.
Well priced at £27, 950. 00. Similar examples with 100, 000 miles in Automatic transmission are listing for £30, 000 +.
We have not been able to get an exact figure on the manual 280 SL's in this country but would imagine it to be single figures. A braver man than I would say this could be the only one..
