Description
Rover 75 Connoisseur SE CDTI Auto three owners from new with MOT until September 2026. Full dealer service history from new with stamped book until 2019 and then home service by myself and last owner. large file of receipts and invoices indicating work done and parts replaced.
I have owned the car since January this year and have carried out any repairs and improvements necessary to make it a stand out reliable daily driver.
I am a Rover 75 enthusiast and also have another mint early V6 petrol but sadly this car has to go as old age and economics have caught up with me!A very good condition car in attractive metallic green which has been progressively brought up to scratch mechanically and bodily to make it drive safely and well and look presentable.
The front end was professionally repainted to eradicate scuffs and scratches last month and the remaining panels although showing some age related dings around the back end are dent and corrosion free.
I gave it a full service this year which included brake fluid change along with air and pollen filters.
Oh by the way I am a retired aircraft engineer so do know a bit about spanners and the like.
It has a fresh MOT with only a silly ( IMO ) advisory of "front and rear subframes under sealed" That's got to be good hasn't it?
Work this year has been the following - front drop links replaced along with the off side front wishbone rear bush, new gold resistor replaced to cure non working engine cooling fan, sun roof motor replaced and sunroof drains cleared, drivers window motor and assembly replaced after snapped cable.
The previous owner had the O rings on the turbo replaced to cure a leak and has done a brilliant job of cleaning the rear suspension and subframe up. It is now lanogarded or similar and is pristine.
The tyres all have good tread depth with Goodyear on the front and Avon on the rear.
Every thing on the car works as it should including the cruise control, climate control, and the electric controlled and heated seats, there are no dashboard warning lights
The Rover 75 well known problem areas of rear sill corrosion and drooping Headliner are none existent on this car, the sills have been inspected and are sound and the Headliner has survived intact and attached. Another known defect is the airbag warning light on due to drivers under seat wiring problems - the connectors have been replaced and light stays out on this car.
To sum up this is an all round presentable and reliable vehicle and with the remedial work done should serve for many more trouble free years
PS just remembered, as you have probably noticed there is a towbar fitted. I have never used it and the electrics are untested
