Riley 9 Special Project (converted in the 1950’s) with interesting motor sport history including period photographs in competition. Based on a 1928 Riley 9 it has a current V5 and is registered as a Tourer. There are many original parts, although the body has been altered at some stage. There is an interesting vintage registration which remains transferrable. There is evidence suggesting 6 owners from new and the driver in the 50’s held an FIA license. It has a “pointy tail” and hydraulic brakes, but this is a project car and I would stress that. I purchased the car in 2021 with the aim of bringing it up to scratch and doing some VSCC racing but due to health circumstances this is no longer possible.
