Reluctantly selling my long owned E30 M3.
Finished in diamond black metallic with light grey leather interior. The spec. includes electric sunroof, electric windows, cruise control, a/ c, M-tec steering wheel.
The car was originally sold in the US in 1988 (clean carfax) then exported to Japan in 1993 from where I imported the car in 2005.
A comprehensive maintenance record in my long term ownership with regular servicing and items replaced as needed:
Eg. Water pump and belts; Radiator, water hoses, viscous fan and expansion tank; Clutch and prop shaft coupling; Braided brake lines; H&R coilovers with Bilstein shocks; Rear exhaust box. Unfortunately I did not get any history with the car when I imported in 2005 so I cannot verify the mileage odometer.
Running on 16" BBS alloys that are in very good condition complete with centre caps (the spare wheel is the original 15" BBS)
225/ 45-16 Hankook Ventus Prime tyres are about half worn but over six years old.
Two new front discs also come with the car.
Recently passed NCT with no issues, it's final NCT is due next March which will take it to 40 years. All previous NCT certs also part of history file.
Odometer was converted to kms prior to my ownership. I have driven 50 of the 71k now showing.
I had some rust repaired in scuttle in 2017 with a windscreen out re-paint professionally done in original diamond black. The car presents beautifully and is rust free. The underneath of the car is particularly good for its age, it's very clean and can be viewed on a lift.
The interior is in very good original condition, the grey leather upholstery is soft to the touch with only small signs of wear on drivers bolster. No cracks on dashboard, carpets, door cards and headliner all tidy and clean with little sign of wear.
Overall the car is very presentable, is on the button and drives perfectly. Now in need of a new owner to keep her going. Happy to discuss car more fully with genuinely interested parties.

I have updated the photo gallery to include photos of the underside of the car. I always loved the original M3's, with the boxed arch look and their racing and rally pedigree from the late 80's and early 90's. They looked and sounded glorious. Soon after I bought this car I took it on a long road trip to the Nurburgring visiting famous road circuits like Spa, Reims and Rouen-les-Essarts. I had a local tuner at the Nurburgring fit H&R coil-overs and prepare the car with new braided brake lines, pads and tyres for some laps of the famous circuit. Other trips to Goodwood and Circuit of Ireland Deja Vu events were completed over the years.
The car always turns heads with younger generations particularly appreciative of the cars place in BMW motorsport history. The original M3 is getting rarer as more and more of these wonderful cars are being built into replica rally and race cars.
I've always stored the car indoors when not in use but lately I haven't been able to use it as much as I'd like and a change of circumstances now forces the sale.
