Lotus Elan +2 Spyder zetec conversion.
This car was fully factory built for a customer by Spydercars Ltd in 2010 to a full specification at a cost in excess £42K.
the car was a bit of a garage ornament for the next 4 years only covering around 4K upto 2015. This is when I purchased the car as MD of spydercars, since then the car has had every Spyder update fitted that we developed. it had a raceline Zetec fitted £12K (2018) which produces 210 BHP, it`s fueled by Jenvey throttle bodies and the latest Emerald ecu, it has a MT75 five speed gearbox fitted with the latest precise gear lever conversion & hydraulic clutch operation, the diff is a 3. 64 LSD unit, a full stainless steel exhaust with a 4:1 manifold giving maximum ground clearance and a single outlet 26R style rear silencer and centre silencer. The spaceframe chassis has the latest Spax spyder spec dampers, fully adjustable wishbones around, whilst retaining rubber bushes for compliance on uk roads, MX5 seats in the front all trimmed in black leather with perforated centre sections, a walnut dash is fitted with st-st toggle swiches, a bluetooth stereo is fitted with hands free calling and music streaming, an aluminum fuel tank supplies the fuel via an electric fuel pump, The exterior is finished in Ice blue metallic all chrome-work is in good order, as if exterior paint and interior trim. a key operated battery idolater and charging point are fitted in the boot.
the headlamps are electric lift spyder spec. the car has covered a total of 13K since converted in 2010. since 2015 has had an estimated £10K spent. This is probably the best Spyder Zetec car you can drive and own in the Uk.
