This car is now up and running sweetly after being laid up for a good few years.
It's a 1925 Alvis ducks back 12/ 50 .
In great condition and has no expense spared in the current owners time .
It's a cross and Ellis body on a ladder chassis.
Has benefitted from a full body off restoration about 20 years ago with photograph evidence.
It has had a full engine rebuild in 2009 and only done about 200 miles since.
Gearbox was overhauled in 2009.
New carb in 2011.
Magneto overhauled.
Kingpins and hubs etc are all restored with invoices.
New radiator in 2013.
New hood and tonneau cover.
Seats recovered in leather.
Many thousands of pounds has been spent on this vehicle with a huge history file and buff log book. There is a large file of history that goes with this rare vehicle along with many photographs of the restoration, it has a beautiful original patina to the original aluminium body panels that really enhance the shapes and elegance of this unique shape.
