1966 VW Splitscreen Type 2 – Rare Factory RHD & Sliding Door
Available for sale is this solid, 1966 German-built "Tintop" Splitscreen. This is a rare, factory Right-Hand Drive (RHD) model, making it a highly desirable and practical choice for UK roads.
Key Vehicle History & Specs:
Origin: German-built with official Birth Certificate included.
Unique History: Spent its first two years in service with NATO at an airport.
Engine: Reliable 1500cc single-port engine. It has been a superb runner throughout current 9-year ownership.
Rare Feature: Factory-fitted sliding door (only available from 1965 onwards). This is a massive benefit for tight parking and adds a unique profile to the bus.

Bodywork: The roof would benefit from some TLC/ cosmetic attention.
